CHUSAN PALM (MALE)

We have helped our neighbors and many others to give their yard the tropical look they had always wished for, but just could get it right. They bought palm trees from local building supply stores, however those plants soon died because they were not of the cold hardy varieties needed here in the Atlanta area.

IMPORTANT: Not all palm trees will survive the winters in the Atlanta area. Areas south and east of Atlanta are in zone 8 and areas north and west of Atlanta are in zone 7B. Date Palms, Pindo Palms, Sable Palms imported from Florida will not survive 7B or colder areas without careful wrapping and adding a heat source to keep them from freezing in winter.

All of our Palms trees shown below are Cold Hardy, they are growing right here in Marietta GA. Zone 7B and have survived well over 20 winters here.

We gather the seed from our mature palm trees and plant them outdoors to insure they survive our winters. When sell palm seedlings, small palms two (2 to 3) year old and palm seeds.

We have never lost a cold hardy palm tree due to cold weather.

We sell palm seed and small, two year old palms grown from seed from our palm trees.

There are other palms that will grow without winter protection if you live in zone 8 however areas North and West of Atlanta are in Zone 7B where winters are a little colder.
