TRIM AROUND TEMPLATE WITH NEW RAZOR BLADE

AFTER TRIMMING, FLIP TEMPLATE OVER FOR OTHER SIDE OF DRAIN

OPPOSITE SIDE OF DRAIN OUTLET

     

TRIM TAPE AROUND TEMPLATE CAREFULLY WITH NEW RAZOR BLADE

USE APPROPRIATE TEMPLATES

 

 

     Opposite End of Tub

 

 

DEPENDING ON THE SHAPE OF EACH TUBS BOTTOM

(SQUARE, OVAL ETC.)

Most Fiberglass tubs are are rather square

while others are oval shaped or rounded at the back end

DRAIN WRAP or FULL BOTTOM

 

USE FULL BOTTOM WHEN MAKING  REPAIRS AROUND DRAIN OUTLET

WHEN MAKING REPAIRS AROUND DRAIN OUTLET COVER ENTIRE BOTTOM

COVER THE DRAIN OUTLET WITH TAPE

FOLDING FIRST PIECE OF TAPE WITH A HANDLE MAKES REMOVING IT EASIER WHEN FINISHED

OPTIONAL PROTECTION

 

Small specks (splatters) from roller appear on side walls

if ROLLER is moved to fast or rolled from front to back wall of tub

while spreading the material evenly.

Moving roller slowly from end to end of tub

will prevent or minimize minute splatters on side walls and not require paper.
