CAUTION:

NEVER USE A METAL BLADE OF ANY KIND ON A FIBERGLASS SURFACE

IT WILL RUIN THE SURFACE!

Metal blades on fiberglass will create numerous cuts and gouges!

 

USE ONLY A HARD PLASTIC SCRAPER ON FIBERGLASS

 

Scraper for fiberglass is easily made from a Formica type (laminate) sample chip. Sharpening one edge to make a hard plastic scraper. Sharpen edge by rubbing it against a piece of coarse sand paper

 

Laminate scraper can be re-sharpened and it will NOT damage the surface!

 

Laminate sample chips can be picked up FREE

at any building supply store selling laminate counter tops

 

DO NOT use metal razor blades to scrape paint from FIBERGLASS
